MATLAB的替代——免费的数学软件MAXIMA——征集志愿者

I received your message about translating the Maxima documentation
into Chinese. If you want to work on that, I think that is a good idea!
We have translations for other languages (Spanish, Portuguese)
already, and it would be terrific to have a Chinese translation as well.
One idea is to translate the main web page plus perhaps one of
the tutorial documents, to begin with. Probably the most
important document to translate is the Maxima reference manual,
but it is very large. You can tell us where you want to start.
Perhaps you can tell us more about yourself and your goals.

Maxima是用LISP语言编写的计算机代数系统。
作为MAC项目的一部分，从1968年到1982年MIT开发了DOE Macsyma，Maxima正是源于Macsyma系统。MIT在1982年向DOE交付了Macsyma的源代码，就是现在的DOE Macsyma。德克萨斯大学的William F. Schelter教授一直在维护DOE Macsyma，从1982年直到他在2001年辞世。在1998年，他获得了DOE的许可在GNU Public License下发布DOE Macsyma。在2000年，他在SourceForge网站发布并继续开发DOE Macsyma，Maxima诞生了。
