装好debian，庆祝一番！

在debian里面用gentoo的内核。:w
不过明显的debian和gentoo差别很大。用起来不是很习惯。现在字体配置不好。

还有你的debian是硬盘安装还是光盘安装的？我有debian的ISO，可否硬盘安装？

和我的gentoo差不多了。我装了kde，速度真的还不错。

找到 image=/vmlinuz 这一行。

　　注意，这里的image决定了lilo调用哪一个文件来启动。
　　我们保留原来的image不动，在这一行的上面，再添加一个启动镜像：
　　　image=/boot/newsetup/linux.bin
　　label=newsetup
　　initrd=/boot/newsetup/root.bin

上面这一段我不太清楚。我现在用的是grub引导。如果要安装该怎么修改grub.conf？

装好后，编译的。不过最好弄一个rh的内核copy过去用先，因为debian安装好了之后是2.2的内核。

都是很不错的，不过个人觉得apt技术更先进一点，但是portage配置更自由(可以自己做ebuild)。

I have just installed the Debian woody.
but I found it's software is so old:confused:
for example the gcc's version is 2.9.
And the Chinese interface can't display properly too.

修改/etc/apt/sources.list
弄几个unstable的。
然后：
#apt-get upgrade
#apt-get dist-upgrade
