-bash: apachectl: command not found

我在redhat9下编译安装apache1.3.31
都提示安装成功了
可是我在bin目录下想执行apachectl start命令，
就出现下面的错误提示：
-bash: apachectl: command not found

其他命令也都一样
我是先把redhat9自动安装的apaceh2 php4 mysql全部卸载再装apache1.3.31的
