    4、make mrproper

    5、make menuconfig,
    在编译.config前出现的提示是:

    6、make 这时也出现了一些警告
    7、make modules_install

    8、make install 这时出现的提示是:

    linux:/linux-2.6.16 # make install
    sh /linux-2.6.16/arch/i386/boot/install.sh 2.6.16 arch/i386/boot/bzImage System.map "/boot"
Root device:    /dev/hda12 (mounted on / as ext3)
Module list:    via82cxxx processor thermal fan jbd ext3

    Kernel image:   /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16
    Initrd image:   /boot/initrd-2.6.16
Shared libs: lib/ld-2.3.5.so lib/libblkid.so.1.0 lib/libc-2.3.5.so lib/libcom_err.so.2.1 lib/libext2fs.so.2.4 lib/libselinux.so.1 lib/libuuid.so.1.2
Cannot determine dependencies of module via82cxxx. Is modules.dep up to date?
Cannot determine dependencies of module processor. Is modules.dep up to date?
Cannot determine dependencies of module thermal. Is modules.dep up to date?
Cannot determine dependencies of module fan. Is modules.dep up to date?
Driver modules: via82cxxx processor thermal fan
    Filesystem modules:     jbd ext3
    Including:      klibc initramfs udev fsck.ext3
    Bootsplash:     SuSE (1024x768), SuSE (800x600)
    13834 blocks
Using grub, re-install of bootloader not required.

    这时我的/boot/grub下的文件menu.lst文件里加了这几行
    title Linux-2.6.16
        root (hd0,11)
        kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16 root=/dev/hda12 vga=788 selinux=0  resume=/dev/hda13  splash=silent showopts
        initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.16
    在对应的文件夹里也能找到这些文件,重新启动时,也能选择新内核,并能进入系统,只是有许多“不正常”的东西,我的boot.msg文件内容如下:

  <notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice><notice>

.</notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice></notice>
