我的机器配置如下：
PIII 800，128M RAM，30G Disk, 显卡Leadtek winfast s320(TNT 2, 16M)。现有分区： C：5G，已经安装WIN2K；其他都是未分配。

病情如下：
在安装solaris 8时，在选择语言（English）后，安装系统提示：Solaris instaler is searching the system's hard disks for a location to place the solaris installer software.
No disks that meet the criteria in the solaris installer documentation found. Please check the system or try another installation option.
安装停止。

不知道问题出在什么地方，按道理说，硬盘空间应该是够了，主分区我也只是用了一个，其他硬盘空间都没有指派。不会是因为存在什么1024柱面的限制问题吧？请各位大大诊断一下，问题可能出在什么地方，应该如何解决。万分谢谢！

另外，我还想知道，我的显卡是否被solaris支持。因为，我在SOLARIS的硬件列表上看到它支持TNT2 32M，但是，我在TNT 2 32M的机器上装过，显卡不被支持。不知道，我现在的机器的TNT 2 16M 是否可以。如果不行，有什么解决办法，要打什么补丁呢？怎么做？谢谢！

可能是solaris不支持你的硬盘，或你的solaris不完全，到sun的主页去下载

我的Solaris是朋友从美国买回来的，硬盘是IBM 腾龙系列30G。应该没有什么问题吧。

要是硬盘的问题，那就比较麻烦了，只能去玩Linux了。

换用IA 1/2重新安装，在选完时区和系统时间后，系统进行系统初始化，然后显示：
Begin script install_begin execution completed.
Exiting (Caught siginal 11)
Type suninstall to restart.

敲suninstall，运行情况与之前的类似，同样在显示：
Begin script install_begin execution completed.
Exiting (Caught siginal 11)
Type suninstall to restart.
之后停止。

不知道问题出在什么地方，请高手出招。

Remove all other hard disk partitions, only left your drive c:\, use Solaris Install CD to do FDISK for solaris partition, it's should be OK. for more details, welcome to my WEB site http://communities.msn.ca/johnleyweb, under documation folder, you can get necessary docs.

By the way, I cann't get correct driver to support my VGA card under Solaris either, so the screen is only 16 colours, anybody has the solution, kindly please let me know, my e-mail: talk2you2002@hotmail.com
