Why I got only 106K in the 1st disc of Solaris8 Intel x86?
I downloaded image here, is it something wrong with the image (ISO) or it is its way?



File list in the CDROM (I saw that under Win9x)

take it easy.
there's nothing wrong with this iso/cif image.
use the cdrom to boot your machine,then you'll find works pretty good.
and you can see the cd-rom on it's data side,the date track spead nearly to 600M

but it seems I'm not lucky enough:

I have a AMD K6 II-333, ASUS P5A motherboard, 256 MB memory. But the solaris 8's setup program could not run correctly: it will crush and reboot just when I see a white screen.

If it is not the CIF image who should be blamed, it must be my poor machine.
