VxMP™ is a VxWorks® operating system run-time accessory that allows the performance of a real-time embedded application to be scaled beyond the capabilities of a single CPU. The transparent design extends existing VxWorks facilities to support multiprocessor applications, in shared memory designs, with little or no code modification.
VxMP, the multiprocessor package for Tornado or VxWorks, is an optional VxWorks accessory product for customers with multiboard bus-architected designs who wish to interoperate with VxWorks applications on other boards on the shared memory bus.
