根据Phoronix报道，经过投票，Fedora 10的开发代号刚刚确定，称为“Cambridge”。此代号正是演进到Fedora Core 1之前的最后一版Red Hat Linux开发代号，至此Fedora项目完成一个循环，并以“Cambridge”作为纪念。
据称此次参加竞争Fedora 10代号的名字还有Farnsworth、Nitrate、Saltpetre、Terror以及Whiskey Run。
