Windows Phone 社区需要感谢 Rene Lergner aka Heathcliff74，他开发了 Windows 10 Mobile 解锁工具 Windows Phone Internals，破解微软的引导保护程序，获得设备的 Root访问权限，让用户可以完全控制系统。现在，Heathcliff74 无法将时间和精力继续投入在这个项目上，所以和其他黑客一样，他将这个项目开源了，源代码托管在微软的 Github 上，采用 MIT 许可证，意味着其他开发者可以接手他的工作，更新或修改代码。
