Linuxeden开源社区This new ISO contains kernel, OS, and software updates. In addition, I added a new command-line software called ghostbsd-version that gives you the GhostBSD version, FreeBSD version, kernel version, and OS version. At the date of this release, if you run ghostbsd-version or ghostbsd-version -v, it should output 21.11.24. This version number will be increment by the date of new packages built on packages every update performed. The ISO version is now following the last package’s build version instead of an ISO’s build date in the hope of removing confusion about the ISO version.

Note: When installing on VirtualBox, change the Graphics Controller to VBoxSVGA.
Writing the iso to a USB stick:
On BSD
dd if=GhostBSD-21.11.24.iso of=/dev/da0 bs=4m
On Linux
dd if=GhostBSD-21.11.24.iso of=/dev/sdc bs=4M
On Mac
dd if=GhostBSD-21.10.16.iso of=/dev/disk2 bs=10240
Minimum System Requirements
- 64-bit processor
- 4GB+ of RAM
- 15 GB of free hard drive space
- Network card
Note: GhostBSD can’t successfully install in a system with less than 4G of ram because once GhostBSD is booted, it is running from the ram and not from the USB flash drive or DVD.
